AMEB Exams:
This semester the AMEB have cancelled all face to face exams due to Covid 19. You can however still take repertoire exams which involve playing either 4/5 pieces in a recorded performance, performed in 1 take, and submitted via a Youtube link for grading. I have several students undertaking these exams, and have prepared a help sheet for students and parents to help them understand the process, and how best to film the performance. Covid Vaccination:
As it is now a requirement for all teachers working in schools to have had 2 doses of a Covid 19 vaccination, I am happy to report that I have completed both doses on the 19/8/21, and am ready and excited to return to face to face teaching once school resumes. All teaching will be in rooms that satisfy the 4m square rule per person, and teachers will wear masks until further notice.
Proms Concert:
I’m excited to announce that my first concert has been scheduled in for after the lockdown is lifted, and it will be on the 5th of December, playing a rescheduled Proms concert with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra. It will be great to play as an ensemble again, and I look forward to many Summer wedding performances, and several Orchestral performances and student concerts TBC next year!
